Hello There! I’m Mackenzie!

Are you dealing with feelings of anxiety and overwhelm on a daily basis? Do you spend much of your day trying to remember all you need to do?

Well, what if I told you I could offer a solution? How does that sound? Want to know more? At Home With Mackenzie, LLC was created to help busy moms bring order to their lives. I share my simple and easy tips, so you can create the happy and organized life that you deserve. Organizing and decluttering will no longer have to feel like huge daunting tasks.

By creating simple routines your home can look and feel the way you’ve always wanted. You’ll finally be proud of your home! I’m not saying that your house will always look “perfect,” because unless you live alone and have no pets, that’s just not realistic, even in that situation it probably isn’t. What I am saying is that if you implement these strategies your home can stay organized longer and be easier to clean and tidy up when it comes time. Having an organized home helps your family members have a better understanding of where things belong and be more likely to put items back once they are done with them. When you have your home life in order it really does make the “rest of the pieces” in your life start to fall into place.

Here’s a little bit about me…

I’m a dietitian turned entrepreneur, and I love to organize (<– I know, crazy right?!). For most of my life I have been a fairly organized person, with the obvious exception of those childhood years when “cleaning your room” meant shoving as much stuff as you could under the bed or in the closet so it was out of sight. Even though I’m organized I’m also very forgetful…as the saying goes “I’d lose my head if it wasn’t attached.” This is why planning and to-do lists are essential for me. Having a plan for the day helps to reduce the amount of decisions I have to make on a daily basis. As a mom, I’m sure you’re aware of the hundreds of decisions you make in a day. Even just eliminating a few by having a plan can make a world of difference. Not just having a plan for the day but creating habits and schedules will also help ease the stresses of life. Even simple cleaning routines, made into habits over time, will make your life run so much smoother. I can help you build and implement these kind of routines, so they become second nature to you and require little to no thought.

I am currently working on building my own course that will walk you through the steps to create lasting habits that are simple and easy, helping you to create the life and home that you deserve.

Do you feel like you’ve already tried so many planners and different systems, which have fallen short, that you’re about ready to give up?

Well, don’t give up just yet. I’ve been there too and spent years trying to figure out what system works best for me. I will provide you with the tips that I have collected over the years to help you create a system that works best for you. Also, don’t think that home systems have to be complicated and take a lot of time to create. In fact, it’s actually usually the opposite that is true, the simpler and easier you can make them the better. I understand how hard it can be to keep your house clean and organized, especially when you have kids and/or pets (and sometimes husbands make messes too). You may often feel like as soon as you clean one area another becomes a disaster, and you’re just struggling to keep your head above the water. I’m here to tell you that you don’t have to struggle anymore, there is an easier way.

My goal is to help you create a place that you love and functions well for you and your family.

As a homebody, I feel the most relaxed and comfortable at home, which is what I want for you! Organization is not about perfection, despite what it may seem like when scrolling through Pinterest. I can get sucked in for hours on Pinterest looking and envying all of the beautiful organization. But the thing is organization does not have to be “Pinterest-worthy,” as long as it’s functional that’s all you need.

Having a simple way to manage your time and your life is the first step to a truly happy life. As you go throughout your life, your organization systems will likely change too. The system that has worked for you in the past may not be working for you anymore and that’s OK. Even if you need to change it again at some point down the road, having systems in place will truly save you time and allow you to enjoy the moments at home.

Home systems provide you the freedom to spend more time of the stuff you want to do and less on those items that you have to do.

Whatever your goals in life may be, getting a handle on your home life is the key to making those happen. This is because it’s hard to stay focused on what you want to do, if you are constantly staring at chaos, whether that’s literally or figuratively. Life can get messy and it’s constantly changing, but when you have organization systems that can adjust and change with you, it makes handling life’s curve balls just a little bit easier.
